Website use and donations
Separate terms for using aahoglobal.org and for donations to AAHO. Future paid or clinical services will have their own terms before launch.
Legal review: This page separates website terms from donation terms. It is intended for Dutch legal review and may be updated after that review. It does not create health bookings, memberships, or donation channels that are not active on the site.

Part A applies to use of this website and related forms. Part B applies only if and when AAHO accepts a donation through an approved channel. Part C explains that paused or future services are not covered by these terms until dedicated service terms are published.
Part A
Website terms of use
By accessing or using aahoglobal.org you agree to these website terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Permitted use
You may use this website for lawful information purposes and to submit forms that AAHO makes available. You must not misuse the site (including attempting to disrupt security, scrape content systematically without permission, submit false information, or use the site for unlawful activity). Using the site does not create membership, employment, a volunteer appointment, clinical care, or authority to act for AAHO.
Forms, volunteering and registrations
Interest, volunteer, expert, community and similar forms are expressions of interest or information requests only, unless a separate written appointment or agreement says otherwise. Some forms may be paused. Organisation registration and certain services may be unavailable as stated on those pages.
Intellectual property
Website content, branding and materials are owned by AAHO or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial information purposes with attribution. You may not copy, sell or reuse substantial content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
External links
The website may link to third-party sites. AAHO is not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Links do not imply endorsement.
Liability
Information on this website is provided for general information. AAHO aims for accuracy but does not warrant that content is complete or current. To the extent permitted by mandatory Dutch law, AAHO is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy and cookies
Personal data submitted through the website is processed as described in the Privacy notice and the Cookie notice.
Part B
Donation terms
These donation terms apply only when AAHO accepts donations through payment channels held in its exact statutory name and approved by its board and banking provider. Until such channels are active, AAHO does not accept donations through this website.

Accepted channels and methods not accepted
AAHO accepts donations only through approved channels in its exact statutory name. AAHO does not accept cash, cheques, cryptocurrency or transfers to personal accounts. AAHO never asks donors to pay into a personal bank account.
Source of funds
By donating, you confirm that you are authorised to give the funds and that they were obtained lawfully. AAHO may request proportionate identity or source-of-funds information and may screen donors and transactions.
Refusal, return and mistaken payments
AAHO may refuse or return a donation at its discretion, including where compliance, objects, or donor due diligence require it. Absolute “non-refundable” wording does not apply: AAHO may return funds for mistaken, unauthorised or refused payments, or where return is required or appropriate. Contact info@aahoglobal.org promptly if you believe a payment was made in error.
Restricted donations
Restricted or earmarked gifts are accepted only after written confirmation that the restriction is compatible with AAHO’s objects, budget and compliance obligations. If a restriction cannot be met, AAHO may refuse the gift or agree an alternative use with the donor where appropriate.
Tax treatment
AAHO does not promise that any gift is tax-deductible for a particular donor. Tax treatment depends on your circumstances and applicable law (including ANBI rules where relevant). Consult your own tax adviser. AAHO will not give personal tax advice.
Donor personal data
Donor personal data may be processed to receive and administer gifts, meet legal and accounting duties, and communicate about AAHO where permitted. Data may be shared with payment processors, banks and other processors under contract, and with authorities where required by law. AAHO does not sell donor data. Details are in the Privacy notice.
Part C
Future or paused services
Online consultation bookings, donation checkout and similar controls that are paused or offline are not offered under these terms. If AAHO launches paid services, clinical services, memberships or other offerings, separate service terms will be published before those services collect payments or create commitments. Until then, no such contract is formed through this website.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Courts in the Netherlands have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or other protections that cannot be waived.

For complaints about the website or donations, contact AAHO using the details below. Integrity and misuse concerns may also follow the Fraud Prevention & Anti-Abuse Policy. Privacy rights requests follow the Privacy notice.
Updates
AAHO may update these terms. The effective date and version on this page show the current text. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised website terms. Donation terms apply as published when a donation is made.
