Ms. Dewa M Sheer, aside from being a medical sonographer in the USA, a young Afghan Power Lady, and a bright humanitarian role model.

Dewa M Sheer is an energetic, socially conscious & optimistic Social Media activist. She is by no means mediocre, yet always a humble soul, a wonderful guide, a strong bridge for humanitarians to connect & make great things happen. Her motto is “Move and Receive God’s Blessings” She is especially creative & offers solutions where there is a humanitarian demand. She has a strong sense of humanitarian purpose due to her roots in a war-stricken Afghanistan & her wonderful upbringing. She does not lose any chance to help, to serve, to raise awareness, to activate others to serve & lead a meaningful life, to empower & inspire those who are struggling in Afghanistan & other challenged communities.

Seeing her country of birth, Afghanistan, go through a very tough time in its history, Dewa M Sheer has campaigned for poor patients in Afghanistan for many years together with humanitarian activists such as Florence Patang, Angoman Gorge.

She is the founder of Afghans Helping Afghans with Crowdfunding Campaigns as she saw a dire need for one platform to raise awareness for various humanitarian fundraising campaigns.

During COVID19, she did not stay silent. She has launched online fundraisers with joined registered charities to help with coronavirus relief. She holds live Facebook conversations, giving information to her audience. She has created awareness groups to spread information about the pandemic and its damaging effects. Dewa’s Covid-19 fundraiser on Facebook Live has raised significant funds for frontline medical staff in Afghanistan during the pandemic.

She is all for empowerment & education. As an enthusiast founder of AYSSR (Afghan Youth Scholarship Support and Resources), she tirelessly helps Afghan students to obtain scholarships to study abroad. As such she an asset for AAHO Empowerment & Education Goals.
